一 | (ECNS) -- Lao hydropower was transmitted to China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area for the first time on Wednesday through the China–Laos 500-kilovolt interconnection project, according to Lancang-Mekong International Energy Co. affiliated to China Southern Power Grid. The project began operation on April 20, 2026, initially transmitting photovoltaic power from northern Laos to Yunnan Province. The latest transmission is expected to continue through October, delivering about 600 million kWh of electricity and participating in the China Southern regional power market. The milestone is expected to enhance cross-border electricity sharing and improve allocation of clean energy resources across regions.

二 | 任务目标是突破高精度月面软着陆、腿式行走、月面飞跃及月面永久阴影坑探测等关键技术，通过绕、落、巡、飞跃等综合探测方式，对月球南极开展环境与资源勘查。其着陆区选址月球南纬85度以上的南极区域，核心科学目标之一是探测月壤水冰和挥发组分，并为国际月球科研站建设奠定基础。而不能在今年预定窗口发射，这一消息来得相当突然，因为就在8月19日，嫦娥七号探测器和长征五号遥十四运载火箭刚刚在文昌航天发射场完成垂直转运，器箭组合体已转运至发射区，原计划近日择机实施发射。更早之前，探测器已于今年4月通过空陆联运运抵文昌，火箭则于7月13日海运送达，此后数月一直按计划开展总装和测试工作。
